The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chaliev scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Chaliev fails with a takedown attempt.
Adam Chaliev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Scissors fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Chaliev tries for a takedown but Scissors sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Chaliev stuns Scissors with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
No luck for Chaliev with that takedown attempt.
Rock Scissors has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adam Chaliev.

Chaliev shoots in looking for a takedown. Scissors tries to sprawl out of it but Chaliev keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Scissors manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Scissors scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Chaliev is rocked!
Scissors connects with a superb combination that knocks Chaliev out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Scissors before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Chaliev!
