Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jiri Brodski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sherif Fathy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brodski comes to the cage accompanied by Frank Sinatra - Luck Be a Lady. Fathy has chosen Eat You Alive as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fathy checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Brodski wants to land a leg kick but Fathy is out of range.

Fathy changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Brodski looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Fathy feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Brodskis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Brodski lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Brodski throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Fathy swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Fathy has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.

and Fathy counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Brodski has his foot on Fathy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Fathy works his way back into a safe position though.

Brodski isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Fathy stacks Brodski on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Fathy!

Fathy cracks Brodski with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Fathy postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Brodski looks a forlorn figure.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Fathy cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Fathy is landing with some decent strikes but Brodski is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Oh Brodski is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fathy looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Brodski covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
