Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 3 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Barton Lucas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bill Andersom!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Aleksandr Martynov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lucas tries to clinch up.
Andersom gets the takedown into side control.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Andersom is looking to take a break and control but Lucas is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Lucas might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Andersom tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Lucas pushes Andersom away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Andersom gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Lucas sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Andersom is looking to advance position but Lucas won't allow it.

Andersom not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Lucas is trying to stand.
Andersom is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Lucas throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Andersom has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Lucas throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.

Andersom scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Lucas sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Andersom is keen to just control but Lucas is a slippery customer.
Andersom working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Lucas's thigh. Lucas counters though and makes it back to full guard.

Lucas wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Lucas is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Bill Andersom was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Andersom shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Lucas is trying to defend but Andersom finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Andersom scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Andersom is trying to work for a kimura but Lucas is defending well.
Lucas pushes Andersom off looking to stand but Andersom dives back in and keeps control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Andersom is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Lucas will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Andersom throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Lucas tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Andersom is in Lucas's guard.
Lucas keeping moving, preventing Andersom from controlling successfully.
Andersom looking to sit in guard and control but Lucas gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Lucas is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Bill Andersom has got the better of the ground game so far.

Lucas could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Lucas.
Lucas shoots for a takedown but Andersom saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Lucas throws a head kick that misses.
Andersom moves into the clinch.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Lucas.

Andersom manages to break the clinch.
Lucas tries to clinch there but Andersom circles away.
Lucas pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Andersom instigates a clinch.
Lucas is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Lucas keeps control of Andersom as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Lucas turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Lucas manages to end up in side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Andersom gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Andersom is trying to maintain the position but Lucas is very close to passing his half guard.

Lucas is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Andersom sees it coming and defends easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Lucas trying to control the action but Andersom is working from the bottom.
Andersom tries to roll over but Lucas keeps him under control.
Lucas is looking to stall here but Andersom recovers full guard.
Lucas wants to control from the top but Andersom keeps moving.
Andersom throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Lucas gets to his feet. Andersom looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Lucas pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bill Andersom seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lucas attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
That kick from Lucas tenderised Andersom's leg. Andersom is trying to keep his angry face on.
Lucas fails to land the takedown.
Lucas gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Andersom to score an easy takedown into full guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close second round but I would say that Barton Lucas will probably get the nod.

Andersom throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lucas was covering up waiting for the punch and Andersom finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Andersom sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Lucas's guard.
Andersom is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.

Andersom controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Andersom won't allow Lucas to get back to his feet.
Andersom stands and steps away. Lucas gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Lucas wants to clinch.
Andersom looking to score a takedown here. Lucas is defending well but Andersom drives through and ends up in Lucas's guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Andersom turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Bill Andersom comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Andersom has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
