Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mark Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bang Du (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Du is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Unholy Confession. Mark Savage had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Du throws a leg kick which misses Savage's front leg but catches the back leg as Savage tries to avoid it.
Savage avoids the head kick by Du.
A good leg kick by Du.

Du shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Savage connecting with a few gentle strikes.
Du slips a nice elbow through Savage's hands, connecting with Savage's forehead.
Du is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Savage is looking to improve his position.
Du wants to control but Savage is keeping him busy.
Savage wants to get back to full guard.
Savage on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Savage tries to get out of the position.
Du is keen to just control but Savage is a slippery customer.
Du missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Du lands a nice leg kick that just misses Savage's sensitive parts.
Du throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Savage's head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Savage takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
No luck for Savage with that takedown attempt.
Savage is breathing heavily.

Savage takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Du fails in his attempt to clinch.
Du throws a nice outside leg kick.

Du drives through and clinches with Savage against the cage.
Du landing knees to the body.
Du landing some nice looking knees to the body.

Du is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Savage can't fight it off and eventually Du manages to take the fight to the floor. Savage looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Savage keeping moving, preventing Du from controlling successfully.
Du with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Savage can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Du controls the pace.
Du has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Savage keeping full guard, as Du tries to pass.
Savage is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Du stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Savage swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Savage looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Savage knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Du on the ground.
Du working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Savage blocks a jab.
Savage doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Du misses with a head kick.
Bang Du seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Savage looks for a takedown but Du sprawls well.
Good shot there by Du.

Savage takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Du feints and then cracks Savage's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Savage down.

Du uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Savage is rocked!
Savage circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Du. Savage falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Du!
