Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bert Starius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kwami Zuzu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kwami Zuzu!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paul Aken and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zuzu tries to score a power double leg takedown but Starius sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Zuzu somewhat.
Starius looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Starius misses with a right hand
and Zuzu counters with a shoot takedown. Starius fights it but they end up in guard.
Zuzu is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Starius trying to control the position.
Zuzu is stalling in the full guard.
Zuzu pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Starius is keeping the position for now.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Kwami Zuzu hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Zuzu dives in and scores a takedown into Starius's guard.
Starius is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Zuzu stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Starius swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Starius looks to score with a jab to the body but Zuzu is just out of range.

Starius catches Zuzu with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Starius lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Starius looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Starius moves in looking to clinch but Zuzu pushes him off.
Starius bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Zuzu's head.
Zuzu ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Zuzu moves out of range as Starius strikes.
Zuzu moves out of range of the strikes.
Starius throws a lazy right hand but Zuzu sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Starius throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Zuzu on the side of the head.

Starius stuffs the takedown attempt from Zuzu. Zuzu gets slowly back to his feet.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Zuzu looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Bert Starius has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kwami Zuzu.
Zuzu dives in for a single leg takedown but Starius sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Zuzu tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Starius just stands there and leans against the cage.

Zuzu is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Starius pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Zuzu has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Starius is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Zuzu closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Starius manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Starius is looking to escape.
Zuzu content to control rather than advance.
Starius is trying to maintain the position but Zuzu is very close to passing his half guard.

Kwami Zuzu has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Zuzu shoots in looking for a takedown. Starius tries to sprawl out of it but Zuzu keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Starius manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Zuzu jabbing away but nothing is landing.

and Zuzu counters with a single leg into guard. Starius didn't expect that.

Starius is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Zuzu.
Starius tries to bum rush Zuzu with a series of wild strikes but Zuzu uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Starius scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Zuzu is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Zuzu fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Starius avoids it really well and circles away.
Zuzu is breathing heavily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Starius scores with a punch to the head.
Starius takes a swing at Zuzu's ribcage but misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Kwami Zuzu will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The cut man is working on Kwami Zuzu's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Starius throws a good cross that connects.
Starius cracks Zuzu with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Starius has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Zuzu to stand back up!
Zuzu is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Starius connects with a superb combination that knocks Zuzu out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Starius before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Zuzu!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Bert Starius!
