Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between RikI Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guilherme Ferreira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Santiago Holmes and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferreira tries to score a power double leg takedown but Machida sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ferreira somewhat.
Machida wants to clinch.
Machida wants to clinch up but Ferreira keeps it at a distance.
Ferreira throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Machida misses with a body kick.
Ferreira will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Machida closes the distance and clinches up with Ferreira, looking for a takedown. Machida pushes Ferreira against the cage but Ferreira circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Horrible takedown by Machida or perhaps it was just good defense by Ferreira which made him look bad.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to RikI Machida.
Well Ferreira has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
