Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pookie Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robin Sir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson comes to the cage accompanied by Ride The Train. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Robin Sir!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Saam Ante and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sir tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jackson was well out of range. Poor timing from Sir.
A lazy left from Jackson finds it's target.
Jackson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Sir.
Jackson fakes the leg kick and cracks Sir in the body.
Jackson scores with a jab. Sir acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Sir fails with an attempt to clinch.

and Jackson counters with a thumping low kick.

Robin Sir seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sir has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Sir fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Pookie Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robin Sir.

Sir takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Jackson fakes the leg kick and cracks Sir in the body.

Jackson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Jackson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Sir has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Sir takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Sir is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Jackson is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

The fighters circle momentarily. Jackson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Sir crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Jackson - the referee stops the clock and Sir gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Jackson. Sir manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Jackson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Jackson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Sir looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Sir is breathing heavily.
Jackson lands a nice shot to the body.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Jackson. Sir shrugs it off though.

Jackson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sir stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Sir takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Jackson ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Pookie Jackson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Sir has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Jackson.

Jackson feints a jab promting Sir to slip. Jackson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Sir slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Sir's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
