Popovic comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Funeral March by Frederic Chopin kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Peanut Jelly has the better chin. The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Illya Tyunina and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Popovic tries to bum rush Jelly with a series of wild strikes but Jelly uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Popovic lands a nice hook to Jelly's body. Jelly takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Jelly shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Popovic but Popovic pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Popovic bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Jelly's head.
Jelly fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Popovic lands with a big right hook that stumbles Jelly - he's out on his feet here! Popovic follows up with another monster hook that separates Jelly from consciousness! Jelly falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Popovic stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
