Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Linus Borjesson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuri Yelsin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yuri Yelsin will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Linus Borjesson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Yuri Yelsin!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Dmitry Maklakov and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yelsin fails with an attempt to clinch.
Yuri Yelsin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yelsin is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Yelsin gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Borjesson showing good wrestling skills to control the position.

Borjesson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Borjesson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Borjesson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Yelsin swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Borjesson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Yelsin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Borjesson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That was a close round but I would say that Linus Borjesson will probably get the nod.

Yuri Yelsin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Borjesson is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Yelsin is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Yelsin has escaped and now he's on top!

Borjesson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Borjesson is striking off his back. Yelsin thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.
Yelsin tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Borjesson tries to roll over but Yelsin keeps him under control.
Borjesson is trying to maintain the position but Yelsin is very close to passing his half guard.

Yuri Yelsin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Yelsin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
