The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soro paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Smith shoots for a takedown but Soro saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Smith shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Smith was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Soro is looking to reverse the position.
Smith tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Smith is looking to take a break and control but Soro is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Smith tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Smith has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Soro wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Smith has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Soro's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Soro is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Smith!
