The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cold misses with a takedown attempt

and Black holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Black manages to pull guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Cold stopping the sweep attempt from Black.

Black wants to sweep here but Cold controlling him for the moment.
Cold slips nicely into half guard.
Black tries to roll over but Cold keeps him under control.

Cold seems to be working for a kimura but Black defends the submission attempt.
Black is not content to let Cold control the position.

Cold thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
You can see the frustration on Black's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Black is not content to let Cold control the position.
Cold throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Black looks to move to half guard but instead Cold has passed into mount! Damn!

Black seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Cold is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

It looks like Stone Cold has been cut.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Black stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Black wants it to stay on the feet.

Cold tries to keep at a distance but Black has taken the fight into the clinch.
Cold can't break the clinch.

Scott Black has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stone Cold.

Black has hold of one of Cold's legs. Cold is fighting the takedown attempt but Black gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

We've been hearing that Black has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

The cut man is working on Stone Cold's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!

A lazy body kick from Black
and Cold counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Black drives through with a takedown into guard.
Black stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cold swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Black sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Black works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Cold trying to control from the bottom.
Black thows a huge punch but Cold dodges it nicely.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Black connects with a nice short shot to Cold's temple.

Black is pressing down on Cold's thigh, looking to free his foot. Cold is holding on for now.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Black is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Cold doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Black.
Cold keeps control of the position for the meantime.
It looks like Black is going to stand back up.

Black gets to his feet - back to striking we go!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Cold enables Black to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Cold manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Cold looking to control.
Black wants to pass the guard but Cold is keeping the position.
Black passes Cold's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Cold tries to get to full guard but Black has control of the leg.

Black seems to be looking for submissions.
Black seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Cold does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Cold has hold of Black's hands but Black slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cold flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
