Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jarred Lawson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Garza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Garza comes into a darkened arena with his song building. kickboxer theme kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Thiago Garza has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jarred Lawson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Thiago Garza!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Luis Engracia and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garza blocks a head kick by Lawson.
Lawson slaps away a takedown attempt from Garza, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Garza throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lawson's waist but Lawson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Garza off to one side.
Garza shoots in and bounces Lawson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Garza has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Lawson is proving hard to escape from.
Garza wants to control from the top but Lawson keeps moving.
Lawson has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Garza should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Lawson has tightened it up now! Garza should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
