Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Victor Gapuz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Monster Mann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Monster Mann!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mann closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Gapuz to the mat! Gapuz manages to get full guard.
Mann forces his way into half guard.
Gapuz on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Gapuz tries to get out of the position.

Mann is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Mann wants to pass the guard but Gapuz is defending well.
Mann seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Gapuz is in trouble now - Mann has advanced to mount!

Mann stands up from mount. Strange move.
A slow jab from Mann misses its intended target.
Mann scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Gapuz takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Gapuz is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gapuz shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Mann connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Mann lands with an uppercut that bounces Gapuz off the cage and back into rage.

Gapuz is rocked!
Mann connects with a nice looking jab.
Oh Gapuz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Monster Mann seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mann darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Gapuz's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Mann before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
