Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sean Whitez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Van Rutten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Van Rutten was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rutten moves out of range of the strikes.
Whitez throws a hook but Rutten avoids it easily.
A head kick misses from Rutten.
The fighters circling - Whitez throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

A telegraphed right hand from Whitez misses the target.
Nice sprawl there from Rutten as Whitez shoots in.

Whitez closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rutten to the mat! Rutten manages to get full guard.

Rutten manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Rutten cracks Whitez with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

It looks like Sean Whitez has been cut.
Whitez is looking to get to half guard.
Rutten avoids the attempt from Whitez to control.
The referee warns Whitez that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Sean Whitez's cut is getting worse.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rutten postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Whitez in real trouble here! The ref calls for Whitez to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
