Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Milan Holder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Mmachi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mmachi has chosen Droideka- Get Hyper as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris Mmachi!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Alyssa Summers and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holder misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Mmachi shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Holder manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Holder not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Mmachi throws a big right hand that misses.
Holder trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Mmachi wants to control from the top but Holder keeps moving.
Holder manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Holder avoids the attempt from Mmachi to control.
Mmachi wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

Holder goes for an armbar but Mmachi turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Mmachi.
Mmachi won't allow Holder to sweep him here.
Holder is looking to stand up but Mmachi isn't so interested in that idea.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Holder is trying to push Mmachi away but Mmachi has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Mmachi is struggling to control the position.
Mmachi has hold of one of Holder's legs. Holder is fighting the takedown attempt but Mmachi gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Holder wants to sweep here but Mmachi controlling him for the moment.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Holder is trying to keep Mmachi in close.
Mmachi loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Holder is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Mmachi tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mmachi has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Holder is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Mmachi off and has taken his back!
Mmachi turns into Holder and is now in his guard.

Holder avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Mmachi.
Mmachi has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Mmachi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Holder keeps working.
Holder wants to control but Mmachi postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Mmachi stuffs the takedown attempt from Holder. Holder gets slowly back to his feet.
Mmachi wants to clinch.
Mmachi drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Holder is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Mmachi working his ground and pound in the gym.
Chris Mmachi has got the better of the ground game so far.
Holder can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Mmachi controls the pace.
Holder is trying to control the position but Mmachi postures up.
Holder is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Mmachi sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Holder's guard.
Holder has a hand on Mmachi's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Mmachi takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Mmachi with shots to the head and body - Holder looks very uncomfortable down there.
Mmachi tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Mmachi lands a big elbow.
Holder is bucking up trying to escape but Mmachi cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Mmachi can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Holder is looking to escape.
Mmachi with shots to the head and body - Holder looks very uncomfortable down there.

Mmachi loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Holder scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Mmachi land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Mmachi stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chris Mmachi!
Chris Mmachi was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
