The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Collins is looking to clinch.
We've been told by Boyka's head coaches at Academia Ipanema that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Boyka throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Collins has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Boyka takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Collins is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Boyka to keep the fight standing.

Collins is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Boyka rolls with it to try and escape but Collins cranks on the arm and Boyka is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
