The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Crofton shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Crofton showed some decent athleticism there.
Crofton looks to land a strike but Slice avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Slice has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Crofton can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Slice on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Slice tries to get out of the position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Crofton accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Well Crofton has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
