The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Law stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from McGirt.
McGirt loads up on a big right hand but Law slips the punch.
Law ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Law moves out of range of the body kick.
McGirt lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
McGirt catches Law with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
McGirt throws out a powerful jab.
Law moves out of range as McGirt strikes.
A solid body kick from McGirt.
McGirt lands with a thumping leg kick.
Law shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts McGirt as he jumps to the side.

Law thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed McGirt's head.
We've been hearing that Law has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Law has his foot on McGirt's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. McGirt works his way back into a safe position though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Law throws a strike but McGirt rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
