The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dufinbeger shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
A good leg kick by Palmer.
Palmer takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Palmer lands with a thumping leg kick.
Palmer lands with a good body shot.
Dufinbeger tries to move into range but Palmer moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
We've been told by Palmer's head coaches at Caveman Fight Team that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Dufinbeger takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Dufinbeger sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

It looks like Stefano Dufinbeger has been cut.
Palmer lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Palmer. Dufinbeger shrugs it off though.

Palmer is looking to slow Dufinbeger down with leg kicks.
Palmer connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Dufinbeger's hands.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Palmer lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Dufinbeger gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Palmer gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Dufinbeger is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
