Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Shiruba Akita (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Borg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Akita's entrance music is Defender - Manowar. A fine choice. Borg has chosen Don't Borg Out as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akita swinging wildly here.

Akita really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Borg makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Borg digs a right hand underneath Akita's ribcage. Akita let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Akita wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Borg has him pressed against the cage.

Akita goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Borg using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Akita has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Borg tries to work over Akita's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
