Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Shawn Tuesday!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Dirk Anderson and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tefft throws a leg kick but Tuesday moved away.

Tuesday shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Tefft is trying to get back to full guard.
Tuesday wants to free his trapped foot but Tefft is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Tuesday is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Tefft on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Tefft tries to get out of the position.

Tefft lands a nice hook to Tuesday's body. Tuesday takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Tuesday uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tefft.
Tefft throws out a powerful jab.
Tuesday slips a jab and a cross from Tefft.
Tefft misses with a series of wild punches.
No joy there for Tefft, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Tefft fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tuesday manages to avoid it.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Tuesday fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Tefft swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Tuesday closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Tuesday has hold of Tefft's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Tefft seems comfortable defending it but Tuesday has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Tefft is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Tefft is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Tuesday couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Shawn Tuesday!
In his post fight interview, Shawn Tuesday started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
