Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Byron Skiddles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Clow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Byron Skiddles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chris Clow!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Chris Saunders and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clow gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Skiddles counters by clinching up.
Clow prevents Skiddles from breaking the clinch.

Clow jumps guard.
Clow has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Skiddles has passed into side control.
Skiddles trying to control the action but Clow is working from the bottom.
Skiddles throwing shots but missing, from side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Clow is not content to let Skiddles control the position.
Skiddles in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Clow is letting Skiddles control him for a moment.
Skiddles has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Clow struggling a bit here.
Skiddles wants to control but Clow is keeping him busy.
Skiddles working away.
We've been hearing good reports from Skiddles's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Clow trying his best to control but Skiddles has mounted him.
Skiddles can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Clow is looking to escape.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Skiddles misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Clow tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Clow wants to hold on but Skiddles pushes him away.
Clow really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Skiddles. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Clow is squirming around, avoiding Skiddles's attempts to control the action.
Skiddles sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Clow blocking the ground and pound.
Skiddles tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Skiddles throws a strike there. Clow manages to avoid it well and slips a leg under to get to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Clow wants to get back to full guard.
Skiddles working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Skiddles is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Clow is just riding it out for now. Skiddles eventually gives up the hold.
Skiddles is keen to just control but Clow is a slippery customer.
Clow wants to stand back up but Skiddles manages to pass into side control.
Clow struggling a bit here.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Skiddles wants to control but Clow is keeping him busy.
Skiddles moves into full mount!
Clow is in all sorts of trouble here.
Clow blocking the ground and pound.

Skiddles is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Clow has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Skiddles tries to control but Clow wriggling away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Byron Skiddles dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!


Skiddles fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Clow looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Skiddles scores with a crisp jab that stopped Clow in his tracks.
Skiddles with a nice cross.
Clow changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Skiddles tries to avoid it but Clow manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Skiddles to the ground. Skiddles escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Skiddles scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Skiddles scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.


Clow is rocked!
Skiddles lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Clow falls backwards - clearly groggy! Skiddles dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Byron Skiddles!
Byron Skiddles really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that xXx Clothing (Nothing Over $20) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
Chris Clow spoke after the fight, saying 'sorry to all my fans.'.
