Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John The Pitbull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mickey McCarthy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Pitbull comes to the cage accompanied by Biggie Smalls - Juicy. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts The Pitbull, as that shot connected.
The Pitbull uses good head movement to avoid the hook from McCarthy.
The Pitbull throws a series of punches but McCarthy avoids them all with ease.
Mickey McCarthy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The Pitbull throws a big shot that misses.
McCarthy checks a low kick from The Pitbull.
McCarthy fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

It looks like John The Pitbull has been cut.
McCarthy looks to score with a jab to the body but The Pitbull is just out of range.
McCarthy misses with an uppercut.
McCarthy throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and The Pitbull connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
The Pitbull throws a right and a left that both miss.
McCarthy lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The Pitbull avoids the body shot from McCarthy.
The Pitbull lunges at McCarthy with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by McCarthy's hand.
McCarthy connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent The Pitbull tumbling to the canvas! McCarthy pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! The Pitbull was done - good stoppage!
