Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Bulge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ned Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kelly has chosen Fate as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelly avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Kelly buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Bulge thows a left - swing and a miss!
Bulge takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Bulge motions for Kelly to come forward. Bulge throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Kelly fakes the leg kick and cracks Bulge in the body.
Nice uppercut lands for Kelly. That snapped Bulge's head back.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Bulge.

Kelly gets caught napping as Bulge dives in and scores a takedown. Kelly manages to retain guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Kelly throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bulge.

Bulge looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Kelly throws a sloppy head kick and Bulge moves out of range easily.

Kelly throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bulge ducks right into an uppercut from Kelly.

A nice inside leg kick there by Kelly. That's going to slow Bulge down.
Bulge does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kelly lands with a nice body kick.

Kelly throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Bulge walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Kelly checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Kelly bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Bulge shoots in looking for a takedown but Kelly manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bulge's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

and Kelly counters with a head kick. That will keep Bulge thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Kelly uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Bulge has time to react.
Bulge shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bulge closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Kelly's guard.
Bulge seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Bulge is working Kelly over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kelly can do anything to dispel that myth.
Bulge stands and throws Kelly's legs to the side, diving into side control.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Bulge closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kelly to the mat! Kelly manages to get full guard.

Bulge throws an elbow that misses. Kelly uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bulge's guard. Nice move by Kelly!
Billy Bulge overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Bulge is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Kelly really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bulge. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Billy Bulge.
