Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hedrig Pokousha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and NotSo Good (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Good is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by NO RETREAT NO SURRENDER. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hedrig Pokousha!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, NotSo Good!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksandr Martynov and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Pokousha moves into the clinch successfully.
Pokousha keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Good's efforts to push away.
Pokousha throws a head punch that misses.

Good breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pokousha walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Good swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Good shoots in for a double leg but Pokousha sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Pokousha closes the distance and clinches.
Pokousha misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Good prevents a body shot from Pokousha.
Good is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Pokousha throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Goods head.

Good is looking to break free of the clinch but Pokousha has double underhooks.

Pokousha presses Good against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Pokousha slows down the pace here.
Good tries to break the clinch but Pokousha is controlling the position.

Pokousha gets control of Good's arms and successfully pulls guard. Pokousha will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Good is looking to stand up but Pokousha won't let him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pokousha is on top in guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Good can do anything to dispel that myth.
Pokousha's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Pokousha stands and throws Good's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Good takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Pokousha moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Pokousha in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Good is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Pokousha is controlling him well.
Good takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Good is working to avoid the ground and pound but Pokousha connects with a decent elbow.
Good pushes Pokousha away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Pokousha gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Pokousha takes a little break here. Good wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Pokousha scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Good to see if he's OK.
Good being controlled for a moment.
Pokousha creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Pokousha works to advance to full mount. Good defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Good really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pokousha. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Pokousha lands a heavy elbow.
Good wants to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Pokousha is looking to clinch but Good is avoiding it.
Pokousha looks for a takedown but Good sprawls well.
Good with a poor takedown
and Pokousha counters with a left to the body.
Pokousha throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Good stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Pokousha steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Good.
Pokousha tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Good paws at him with a jab and circles away.

NotSo Good seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pokousha tries to clinch up but Good circles away and keeps his distance.

It looks like NotSo Good has been cut.
Pokousha throws a series of strikes that have Good backpedaling.
Pokousha is looking to clinch.

Pokousha tries to close the distance and clinch up but Good swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Good throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Pokousha counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Pokousha moves in looking to clinch but Good pushes him off.

Pokousha drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Pokousha's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Pokousha slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Good is working to avoid the ground and pound but Pokousha connects with a decent elbow.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Good bucks up and tries to throw Pokousha off but instead Pokousha has got his back!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pokousha is punishing Good with strikes - can he finish him?!
Pokousha lands an elbow to the side of the head.


Good is rocked!
The referee is taking a good look at Good as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Pokousha!
Good is still in real trouble! Can Pokousha finish him?
I would not like to be Good right now.
Pokousha is landing with strikes from the back.
Pokousha is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Good. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.
What can Good do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Good covers up after that shot from Pokousha.
Pokousha scoring with big shots to the body. Good is looking for a way out. A despairing look towards the ref and the official steps in to stop the fight. Good was obviously done but didn't want to tap out.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hedrig Pokousha!
A very excited looking Hedrig Pokousha made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
NotSo Good spoke after the fight, saying 'Good job dude! Back to training I guess ... '.
