The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jigster uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Stringfellow.

Jigster tries to sprawl but Stringfellow drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Stringfellow is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jigster doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Stringfellow.
Jigster wants to control the action here but instead Stringfellow manages to pass to full mount!
Jigster tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stringfellow putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Stringfellow prevents Jigster from getting the reversal.
Stringfellow sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jigster is wriggling around trying to escape.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jigster tries to lock up and control but Stringfellow gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Stringfellow is landing with some decent strikes but Jigster is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Stringfellow lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Jigster hang on?

Jigster is rocked!
Stringfellow forces the positional change into back control.
Jigster is still in real trouble! Can Stringfellow finish him?
Stringfellow is riding his opponent, not letting Jigster buck him off.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stringfellow lands a massive punch from the back that knocks Jigster out cold! Stringfellow jumps to his feet and celebrates wildly with his corner.
