The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Campos paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Campos keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Campos keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Gordon misses with a double jab
and Campos counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Gordon thinking.
Gordon looks to land a body kick but Campos moved away.
Campos defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Gordon.
Gordon closes the distance and clinches.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gordon fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Severino Campos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Emil Gordon.
Gordon breaks the clinch.
Gordon tries to score a power double leg takedown but Campos sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gordon somewhat.
Gordon staying out of range there.

Gordon doesn't manage to clinch there - Campos circles away.
Gordon walks into a straight right hand from Campos.
A punch lands to the side of Gordon 's head but he takes it in his stride.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gordon.
Gordon looks winded!
Gordon takes one on the chin but seems OK.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Campos slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
It looks like Emil Gordon has been cut.
Campos lands a big right hand that sends Gordon crashing to the mat! Campos stays standing though and waves Gordon back to his feet!
Gordon is rocked!
Campos circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Gordon tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Campos wins by KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Severino Campos!
