Cartman has chosen All Within My Hands as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cartman wants to clinch

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Eric Cartman hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Cartman closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Cartman has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Moon is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Cartman is defending well for now.

Cartman lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Moon backwards.

Cartman presses Moon against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Moon is breathing heavily.
Cartman digs a right hand underneath Moon's ribcage. Moon let out a lung full of air as it connected.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Cartman creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Moon avoids a wild elbow strike from Cartman.
Moon stalling in the clinch but Cartman improves position.
Cartman lands a nice shot to the body.
Cartman gets through Moon's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Cartman.

Cartman lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Moon - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Cartman!
