Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel McGowen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Curt LeMae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGowen comes to the cage accompanied by Control - Kendrick Lamar. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gabriel McGowen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Curt LeMae!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGowen misses with a wild body shot.

McGowen has taken the fight to the clinch.

McGowen lands a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
LeMae controlling the position.
LeMae manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. McGowen manages to get himself to full guard.

LeMae tries to stand but McGowen is controlling from the bottom.
McGowen has control of LeMae's left arm, preventing LeMae from doing any damage.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now McGowen is on top in guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
LeMae is pulling down on McGowen's head to control his posture.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
McGowen shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has LeMae pinned against the cage. LeMae gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
McGowen throws a looping overhand right but LeMae ducks down to avoid it.
McGowen misses with a wild body shot.
LeMae fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and McGowen has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
LeMae thuds a left hand into McGowen's body.

LeMae lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
McGowen takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McGowen misses with a low kick.
Horrible takedown by McGowen or perhaps it was just good defense by LeMae which made him look bad.

LeMae ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
LeMae scores with a hook to the body. McGowen takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
LeMae buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
McGowen looks to score with a jab to the body but LeMae is just out of range.
LeMae takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
McGowen looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gabriel McGowen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
McGowen takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
McGowen is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
LeMae avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
LeMae lands with a shot to the body.
A punch lands to the side of McGowen 's head but he takes it in his stride.
LeMae misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

McGowen fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging LeMae to the ground. McGowen is now in LeMae's guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
McGowen looking to sit in guard and control but LeMae gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
McGowen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Curt LeMae dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

McGowen is looking to slow LeMae down with leg kicks.
McGowen throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
McGowen looks to score with a jab to the body but LeMae is just out of range.
McGowen dives in and grabs LeMae's left leg, looking for a takedown. LeMae pushes down on McGowen's head and hops out.
McGowen keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
McGowen thows a leg kick but LeMae checks it
and LeMae counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
LeMae connects with a body shot.
A lazy left from LeMae finds it's target.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A jab from LeMae finds it's way through McGowen's defenses.


It looks like Gabriel McGowen has been cut.
LeMae scores with a jab to the body.
Nice straight punches there by McGowen. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of McGowen.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
LeMae pounces like a tiger and cracks McGowen with a vicious hook! McGowen is down but not out! LeMae follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Curt LeMae!
Curt LeMae seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
