Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tank Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marek Kowal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyson is looking to clinch but Kowal is avoiding it.
Kowal misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Kowal bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Tyson throws a chopping leg kick but Kowal manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Kowal throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Kowal has managed to clinch.
Kowal has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Tyson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Kowal manages to break the clinch.

Tyson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Tyson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tyson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Tyson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Kowal throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Kowal fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Tank Tyson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marek Kowal.

Kowal moves into the clinch.
Tyson on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Kowal pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

and Kowal counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Tyson slaps away a takedown attempt from Kowal, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Tyson shoots in looking for a takedown. Kowal tries to sprawl out of it but Tyson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kowal manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Tyson leaves Kowal with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Kowal.

Tyson throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Kowal shoots in looking for a takedown. Tyson tries to sprawl out of it but Kowal keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tyson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Kowal tries to pull guard but Tyson forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Kowal is trying to drag Tyson to the mat but Tyson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Kowal breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Tyson tries to clinch there but Kowal circles away.
Kowal displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Tyson.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kowal looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Tyson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Tyson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Tyson wants to clinch up but Kowal keeps it at a distance.

and Tyson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Kowal's guard now.
Kowal can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Tyson controls the pace.
Tyson throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Tyson is pushing down on Kowal's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kowal is fighting to maintain full guard but Tyson has managed to sneak the leg through.

Kowal is breathing heavily.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Tank Tyson wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Kowal tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Tyson defends well and Kowal ends up having to push Tyson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Tank Tyson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marek Kowal.
Tyson doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Tyson tries a body shot but Kowal blocks it.
Kowal jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Tyson walks away with a smile on his face. Kowal gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Kowal leaves Tyson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Tyson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Tyson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kowal moves away.
Tyson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kowal manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Kowal will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Tank Tyson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Tyson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kowal did well to prevent Tyson getting side control.

Tyson seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Kowal is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
