Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Reynir Arn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Boomer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arn misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A low kick from Boomer misses
and Arn counters with a solid body kick.
Arn lands a nice leg kick that just misses Boomer's sensitive parts.
Boomer throws an overhand right that lands on Arn's shoulder, as Arn tries to avoid the shot.
Boomer moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Arn misses with a two punch combination.
Boomer throws a body kick, spinning off balance

and Arn moves into the clinch.
Arn tries to work over Boomer's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Arn lands with a left to the head.
Boomer tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Arn breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Boomer throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Arn stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Arn motions for Boomer to come forward. Arn throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Arn seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Mike Boomer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Boomer.

Boomer fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Arn has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Arn lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Boomer has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Boomer and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That was a close second round but I would say that Reynir Arn will probably get the nod.

Boomer has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Arn finds it's way round the side to connect with Boomer's head.

Boomer gets tackled into the ropes by Arn. Arn maintains the clinch.
Arn is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Arn gets through Boomer's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Reynir Arn opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
