The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ardona throws a nice looking combination but Martinez bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ardona has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Main Event Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Martinez throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Ardona counters with a nice body kick.
Martinez swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Ardona takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Martinez takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
