The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gatti III lands a slapping body shot.
Gatti III throws a series of strikes that have Mitautas backpedaling.

It looks like Havas Mitautas has been cut.
Gatti III steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mitautas.
Gatti III blocks the body kick.
Mitautas on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Gatti III throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gatti III checks a leg kick.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Mitautas crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Gatti III - the referee stops the clock and Mitautas gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Gatti III. Mitautas manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Gatti III throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Gatti III cracks Mitautas with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Gatti III throws a nice looking combination but Mitautas bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Gatti III wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Mitautas walks into a left hand.

Gatti III lands a big head kick that sends Mitautas tumbling to the mat! Gatti III takes a step backwards and waves Mitautas back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mitautas throws a half hearted mid kick.
Oh Mitautas is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Gatti III throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Gatti III manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Gatti III digs a right hand underneath Mitautas's ribcage. Mitautas let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Gatti III pushes Mitautas back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
