The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Narvaez swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Redenbacher keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Narvaez tries to clinch there but Redenbacher circles away.
Narvaez cracks Redenbacher with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Narvaez moves out of range of the body kick.

Narvaez moves into the clinch.
Redenbacher is trying to push Narvaez away but Narvaez has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Redenbacher lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Narvaez.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Narvaez blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Redenbacher's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Narvaez doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
We've been informed that Narvaez has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Narvaez lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Redenbacher can't find room to land a body shot as Narvaez controls the action.
Redenbacher misses with a hook to the ribs.
Narvaez tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Narvaez pushes Redenbacher back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Narvaez goes for a double leg but Redenbacher avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Redenbacher continues to drive forward.

Redenbacher goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Redenbacher misses with some punches.
Redenbacher lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Narvaez tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Redenbacher's elbow.
Redenbacher lands a body punch.
Narvaez has a couple of punches blocked by Redenbacher.

Redenbacher escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Narvaez lands with a straight right. Redenbacher didn't see that one coming.
Redenbacher scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Redenbacher bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Narvaez's head backwards.

Narvaez tries to clinch up but Redenbacher circles away and keeps his distance.
Redenbacher loads up on a big right hand but Narvaez slips the punch.

Narvaez sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
