Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Scott Simon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Upper Cut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Upper Cut will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Josh West, Jeff Smith and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cut avoids the head kick by Simon.
Cut is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Simon's half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Simon wants to control but Cut is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Cut is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Cut has momentary wrist control but Simon slips an elbow through the middle.

Simon decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Simon misses with a head kick.
Simon closes the distance and clinches.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Cut postures up in Simon's guard and throws a big left but Simon blocks it.
Cut won't allow Simon to sweep him here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Simon closes the distance and clinches.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Simon has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
Cut lands an elbow inside.
Simon jumps guard and drags Cut to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Simon lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Cut!

Simon cracks Cut with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
