Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roy Solomon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Optimus Maximus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Solomon comes to the cage accompanied by Silence. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Optimus Maximus!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Mauricio Rocha and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Solomon keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Solomon moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Optimus Maximus has been cut.
Roy Solomon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Maximus shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Solomon pinned against the cage. Solomon gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Solomon cracks Maximus with an open hand slap.
Solomon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Solomon looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Solomon stuffs the takedown attempt from Maximus. Maximus gets slowly back to his feet.
Roy Solomon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Optimus Maximus.
Solomon throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Solomon fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Maximus.
Maximus looks gassed!
Donk. Solomon catches Maximus right on the button with a cross.
That has opened up Optimus Maximus's cut even more.
Maximus shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Solomon lets loose with a powerful body kick. Maximus will feel that in the morning.
The fighters circle, before Solomon throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Maximus's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Solomon lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Roy Solomon!
