Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Matheo Kranc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matheo Kranc had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Matheo Kranc!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Carlos Knight!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Sandra Marshall and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Knight shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kranc is trying to defend but Knight finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Well, if Knight is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Kranc really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Let's hope that Knight has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Knight is nestled in close to Kranc, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Knight takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
It looks like Knight might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Knight shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kranc napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Knight content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Knight's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Kranc parries the strikes from Knight easily there. Knight is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Kranc to escape.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Carlos Knight showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!



Knight closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Knight lands in his opponent's guard.
Knight wants to pass the guard but Kranc is keeping the position.
Kranc can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Knight controls the pace.
Knight tries to free his leg and advance position but Kranc is retaining full guard.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Knight has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Kranc's face.

Carlos Knight comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Knight has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
