The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watanabe tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jackson was well out of range. Poor timing from Watanabe.

Jackson gets tackled into the cage by Watanabe. Watanabe maintains the clinch.

Jackson gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Watanabe is looking to improve his position.

Jackson is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Watanabe defends it well.

Jackson has control of Watanabe's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Watanabe regains control of the situation pretty easily.
