Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maxim Mailov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michal Nojman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
20 - 14 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Maxim Mailov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Michal Nojman!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mailov lands a jab to Nojman's midsection.
Nojman fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mailov avoids it really well and circles away.
Nojman fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Nojman has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Horrible takedown by Nojman or perhaps it was just good defense by Mailov which made him look bad.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

That was a close round but I would say that Maxim Mailov will probably get the nod.

That was a close second round but I would say that Maxim Mailov will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Maxim Mailov.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mailov, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
