Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bryan Spong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Joseph (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mark Joseph!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Winston Alpacca and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joseph tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Spong swivels and escapes.
Spong tries to score a power double leg takedown but Joseph sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Spong somewhat.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Joseph accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
