Suarez has chosen Skindred - Rat Race as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Antonio Suarez!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suarez's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Flodder connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Suarez scrambles back to his feet.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Suarez working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Suarez has gone for a leg lock! Flodder slips out almost immediately though and dives into Suarez's guard.
Suarez wants to improve his position but instead Flodder has moved into half guard.

Flodder is taking a breather. Suarez says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Suarez tries to roll over but Flodder keeps him under control.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

What can Suarez do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Flodder is on top in guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Suarez is looking to sweep but instead, Flodder has passed into half guard.

A close second round but Antonio Suarez will probably get the nod - 10:9.

Suarez pushes a forearm under Flodder's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Flodder is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

After winning the bout, Antonio Suarez thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
