The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nomo keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kitaoka looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Nomo's corner calls for a 1-2. Nomo obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

It looks like Satoru Kitaoka has been cut.
Nomo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Nomo lands a nice looking body shot.
No joy there for Nomo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nomo has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Nomo swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Kitaoka.
Nomo drops Kitaoka with a naaaaasty hook - Kitaoka is in real trouble here! Nomo dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

Shintaro Nomo decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
