And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Akihiro Tatsui!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Sosuke Kotani and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kurosawa misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tatsui.
Kurosawa looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Kurosawa cracks Tatsui with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Tatsui looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Tatsui working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Tatsui is trying to control. Kurosawa wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Kurosawa has given up his back. Will we see Tatsui going for some submissions?

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A very excited looking Akihiro Tatsui rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
