The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tate tries to land a leg kick but Scott saw it coming and moves away.
Scott lands a head kick. Tate smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

It looks like Wyatt Tate has been cut.
Tate could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Scott digs a good hook to Tate's body.
Scott scores with a kick to the midsection.

Scott closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Tate quickly recovers to half guard.

Tate is defending against the submission attempts here by Scott.
Tate wants to get back to full guard.
Scott is looking to take a break and control but Tate is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
