The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Askharzada swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Grzegorz Rakieta Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Askharzada throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rakieta Jr.
Rakieta Jr lands a head kick. Askharzada smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Sadaq Askharzada has been cut.
Rakieta Jr tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Askharzada was well out of range. Poor timing from Rakieta Jr.
Rakieta Jr misses with a head kick.
Rakieta Jr throws a front kick that sends Askharzada stumbling back into the cage.
Rakieta Jr sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Askharzada to the ground! Rakieta Jr dives into full mount looking to finish!
Askharzada is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rakieta Jr landing strikes from the mount and Askharzada is in trouble!
Oh Askharzada is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rakieta Jr unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Askharzada wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Rakieta Jr celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
