Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between methos lage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter McHaggis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McHaggis has chosen The Spicy McHaggis Jig as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Aleksandr Martynov and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McHaggis tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but lage swivels and escapes.
lage fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with McHaggis, pushing him back against the cage.
Knees in the clinch landing for lage.
lage crunches a lovely knee into McHaggis's ribcage.
McHaggis has lage pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. lage manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
McHaggis wants a takedown.
methos lage has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peter McHaggis.
McHaggis looking for a takedown.
lage scores a nice knee to the body.
lage escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
lage clinches with his opponent.
lage working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
lage wants the takedown. McHaggis is fighting it off but lage persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in McHaggis's guard against the cage.
lage stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McHaggis swivels though and keeps the full guard.
lage drops back looking for a leg! McHaggis is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and McHaggis manages to kick lage off! lage jumps back into McHaggis's guard.
lage decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
lage gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Knees in the clinch landing for lage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
lage is pressed up against the cage. McHaggis has hold of a leg and is looking to drag lage down to the mat. lage avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
McHaggis fails with the takedown.
lage really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
McHaggis looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round.
lage clinches up against the cage.
lage manages to pull guard.
McHaggis has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing lage to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! McHaggis is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - lage pulls down on the head and he's put McHaggis to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). methos lage!
