Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buster Blighton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felix Fernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buster Blighton has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Felix Fernandez!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Albert Achterberg and Radbod Blank.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernandez works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Blighton lands with a cross.

Fernandez gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Blighton stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fernandez swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Fernandez has control of Blighton's left arm, preventing Blighton from doing any damage.

Blighton wants to control from the top but Fernandez keeps moving.
Blighton is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Fernandez is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

We're going to have a standup here because Buster Blighton wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Blighton tries to clinch there but Fernandez circles away.
Blighton shoots for a takedown but Fernandez saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Fernandez lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Blighton has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Blighton and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Fernandez decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Blighton flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Blighton throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and Fernandez manages to pass to side control.

Blighton throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fernandez's waist but Fernandez gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Blighton off to one side.

Blighton moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Blighton had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Fernandez defends it easily.
Fernandez not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Felix Fernandez hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Well Fernandez has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
