Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Josh Michaels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Licks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Josh Michaels has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Josh Michaels seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Michaels scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Licks pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Licks tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Michaels was well out of range. Poor timing from Licks.

Licks has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Michaels gets caught napping as Licks dives in and scores a takedown. Michaels manages to retain guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Michaels escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Licks gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Licks lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
