The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chapman scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Wiesiek takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Chapman scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Wiesiek to see if he's OK.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wiesiek sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Wiesiek is looking for a sweep. Chapman is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Chapman is pressing down on Wiesiek's thigh, looking to free his foot. Wiesiek is holding on for now.
Chapman takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Chapman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wiesiek on the ground.
Chapman is nestled in close to Wiesiek, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Chapman connects with a nice short shot to Wiesiek's temple.

Chapman is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Wiesiek is hurt! He's hurt bad - Chapman fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Wiesiek from any more punishment! Congratulations to Chapman! Great finish!
