Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Orlando Menez!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Sano and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Menez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bariga tries to avoid it but Menez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bariga to the ground. Bariga escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Menez has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Bariga is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Menez has his takedown stuffed

Bariga lands a big right hand that sends Menez crashing to the mat! Bariga stays standing though and waves Menez back to his feet!

and Bariga counters with a left to the body.

Bariga definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Bariga throws an overhand right that drops Menez like a sack of potatoes! Bariga dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

Mark Bariga spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
